READ.ME ---- This file.
DIAG.EXE ---- The adapter test program.
!AMC8103.CFG ---- An ISA configuration file.

--------
DIAG.EXE
--------
DIAG.EXE is helpful in assuring a fully functional system when
installing the adapter, or when the adapter operation is in question.
DIAG.EXE will display the current configuration of your Advanced 3270
Adapter. The default shared memory address on the adapter is:
CE000 - CFFFF
If this memory address is in conflict with another adapter, you can
modify the starting address of this 8K buffer by running DIAG.EXE
using the following command line switch:
/M=xx
Where xx is replaced by the starting memory segment address (a two
digit, even hexadecimal number). If you set the starting address to
a location already in use by another adapter, your 3270 Adapter may
need reset (requiring a cold boot).
For example, typing the following at the DOS prompt:
DIAG /M=E0
will set the base memory segment address to E0000.
Interrupt testing is enabled by default. If you disable interrupts
by setting switch 2 ON, you will fail the IBM I/O test. To bypass
the interrupt testing part of the IBM I/O test, use the:
/N
command line switch.
Follow the on-screen instructions to test the adapter(s) installed in
your system. See your Installation Manual for more information.

!AMC8103.CFG
------------
This file is an adapter configuration file for the Advanced 3270
Coax Adapter. This file is used with the Compaq ISA Configuration
Utility, ISAC.EXE. If you have this utility, the Advanced 3270 Coax
Adapter can be added to the database by entering the following line:
BDADD !AMC8103.CFG
BDADD.EXE is another utility provided by Compaq for adding adapter
definition files to the database. Note that neither ISAC.EXE or
BDADD.EXE are supplied by Attachmate.
